Do I need to make an appointment?

Appointments are preferred and can be made by calling (02) 9888 7521. However, we do accept walk-ins if there is an available appointment at the time. If you want a particular time and/or date, it is best to make an appointment.

Do I need a referral?

Generally you do not need a referral. However, if it is a Workers Compensation, Compulsory Third Party (CTP), Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) or Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) case, we will require a Doctor's referral.

How long is my appointment?

Assessment Consultations are 30 minutes in duration and Subsequent Consultations are 30 minutes in duration. If you require more time or have more than one injury, please call us to discuss other appointment options.

What should I bring to my appointment?

You should bring your private health fund card (if applicable), list of any current medication, relevant medical reports, X-rays, scans and doctor's referral (if applicable).

What should I wear?

During the consultation, we will need to see the problematic area. You should wear or bring a change of appropriate and comfortable clothing that will allow easy assessment and exposure of the area.

Do you treat Compulsory Third Party (CTP) or Workers Compensation claims?

Yes we treat both. For both CTP and Workers Compensation claims, at your intial appointment you will need to bring a GP referral letter, claim number, insurance company details, case manager details (name, phone number, fax number and email address), any scans and results and any other documents related to your case.

How do I pay for my appointment?

If you have private health insurance which covers physiotherapy, we can claim the rebate for you on the spot if you bring your health fund card (consult your health fund for rebate amounts). You will then have to pay any remaining gap. If you are not covered by private health insurance, you will have to pay the full consultation fee. We accept cash or card (excluding AMEX and Diners).

If you haven't found an answer to your question, please feel free to call us on 9888 7521.
